EMR Implementation and Selection Consulting

impleMED will work directly with you and ultimately, your selected EMR implementation team to ensure your practice successfully launches their newly acquired product. Our goal is for all of our clients to seamlessly migrate from paper to digital and to immediately benefit from your EMR system. We achieve this through our 5-step consultative approach.

Step 1 - Project Kick-off

Our experts will be there for you every step of the way. Our consultation begins with our proprietary questionnaire. impleMED will analyze your current work flow process by spending time interviewing you and your staff. We will also spend time reviewing your current infrastructure, including your hardware profiles, existing billing system, and third party relationships.

Step 2 - Vendor Evaluation & Selection

Once we fully understand your practice's work flow, we will begin reviewing EMR vendors on your behalf. This process begins when we submit a request for a proposal (RFP) on your behalf to approximately 10-12 established companies. The RFP will specify your practice's requirements and dictate the timeline for evaluation, demonstration, and proposal submission. impleMED will coordinate live product demonstrations. Following the demonstrations, we will select 2-3 finalists and schedule onsite visits to local medical offices that use these systems. Once approved, we will submit a letter on your behalf awarding the selected vendor.

Step 3 - EMR Project Kick-Off

impleMED will coordinate directly with your selected EMR implementation team. As your advocate, we will oversee the complete implementation process and maintain your deadline for product launch.

Step 4 - Data Migration & 3rd Party Coordination

impleMED will ensure that all requested data is properly extracted from your existing billing system and properly converted for use with your newly acquired clinical system. They will also any 3rd parties including computer hardware computer network installation.

Step 5 - EMR Deployment

Following data conversion, document scanning, and EMR training, impleMED will remain with you to ensure complete satisfaction beyond product launch. We can continue to optimize your workflow and ensure that you obtain a suitable ROI from your selected EMR vendor.
